April Mueller, owner and founder of Unify Accounting Solutions, has worked in the accounting industry for more than 12 years. During that time, she has held progressive positions including full charge bookkeeper, senior accountant, and fractional controller. She has experience working with businesses ranging in size from small startups to large corporations, in a multitude of industries including hotels, restaurants, event production, retail, technology, SaaS, consulting, property management, real estate, and fitness.
April has a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and a Master of Accountancy, both from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is currently studying to take the Certified Management Accountant exam to obtain her CMA® certification and expand her fractional CFO and strategic management accounting services.
April’s passion is helping small businesses grow and flourish. She understands that business owners can only wear so many hats, and often need the support and expertise of others to truly thrive. The numbers behind a business can be confusing, intimidating, and stressful for business owners. April’s decade+ of experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports has given her a strong understanding of the mechanics behind what makes a successful business tick. Her expertise brings meaning and clarity to the numbers that can help business owners understand their business’ financial health and strategize growth and expansion.
